Join us for a holiday party to benefit the Midcentury Modern Architecture Museum of Belleville.
Celebrate the holidays in MCM style.
The Belleville Historical Society invites you to our second annual 1950s Holiday Party. Dress up in your favorite 50s-inspired fashion, and you’ll feel right at home in our living museum-in-the-works: A Midcentury Modern home designed by Belleville architect Charles E. King, FAIA. All proceeds from the event will benefit the continued restoration of the museum, which features King’s works.
You’ll see the progress we’ve made at the museum over the past year (thank you for your support!), nerd out over our Charles E. King exhibit (it’s packed with stories and photos of his works) and flip over our vintage holiday decorations (we may have a plastic Santa or two).
We’ll also have period holiday music, plenty of tinsel trees, food and drinks. By popular demand, this year we’ll offer beer in addition to wine and mulled cider.
Everyone is welcome to join us for the bash – whether you’re a longtime supporter, hip to MCM, or just curious to check us out. Find the details below.
