The Belleville Historical Society is participating in a free history and nature walking tour of Engelmann Farm County Park on Saturday, May 4, 2024. This event is sponsored by the HeartLands Conservancy, which facilitated the purchase of Engelmann Park by St. Clair County. The other participating organizations are the St. Clair County Historical Society and the Gustav Koerner House Restoration Committee.

Sitting in pride of place, atop one of the highest points in the region, you will find Engelmann Farm – winding trails through former farmland offer an exceptional view of the Shiloh Valley, virgin forests, and historic homes that remain provide a glimpse into the rich history of the land.
